Ep.6 – Crying at the Bar
There’s no crying in bartending!! That’s actually not true. There can be lots of tears.

There’s no crying in bartending!! That’s actually not true. There can be lots of tears. Dr. Xander Gerrymander and Dr. K go into the calls bartenders have to make in regards to patrons crying and how hard it might be to make those judgment calls in regards to if a patron is super happy, super drunk, or just super sad, how to assess, and what to do in such a situation. From behind the pine, they also talk about what bartenders do and where they go if they’re having a breakdown while tending (hint!! It’s the crying room!! Every bar has one!!) and how to reset afterwards, and how you can support your fellow coworkers in case they are having a rough day.
Theme song “Just A Little Drink” performed by Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra (1925)
